About Wood Works

Wood Works manufactures bespoke wooden products, from children's mud kitchens, to bird boxes, flower troughs to log stores and more! We have invested in new tools and jigs to enable people to maximise their participation and produce high quality goods at affordable prices.

The trainees are encouraged to get involved in all the different aspects of manufacturing.

What to expect

We provide practical work experience of using hand tools and equipment to assemble wooden products, moving from pre-cut kits to making products from a planned design. Appreciation for health and safety is taught and the safe handling of tools and equipment.
