Fundraising
There’s some fabulous, fun and wacky ways to fundraise that unite people as well as raising funds and awareness at the same time. From dragon boat racing to golf days, football tournaments, running races, cycling events and more, we’ve had a lot of support and seen some wonderful events take place over the years of which we are very grateful.
Organise
an event
Please feel free to organise an event in your area and contact us if you would like any publicity for this - on the website or on Facebook.
As you will see from Our Products page there are T shirts, Polo shirts and Hoodies to maximise publicity for any event.
Sponsor an
existing event
There are individuals who are already set up to do humorous things for the Foundation. You can take the 'easy route' and just sponsor them for a few pounds, just go to their events page.
Quick & easy ways to fundraise
Not all fundraising needs to be an organised event, you can create donations simply by utilising existing online platforms.
The Easyfundraising website
This web site provides a 'free' way of raising funds for the Foundation. By registering on www.easyfundraising.org.uk you can then shop at over 500 stores, from Tesco to even purchasing airline tickets. Every time you buy, the store will give a % to the Foundation at no extra cost to you!
The Emily Jordan Foundation is already registered - so you can start using this immediately.
Easy Search
Easy Search is a search engine that you can set as your online homepage. Every time you use this search engine we receive a donation. Go to www.easysearch.org.uk and click on the tab 'make easysearch your homepage?' and select the Foundation as your required charity. This is such a simple way to keep funds coming in, so please spread the word!
If you need any help with setting this up, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Donations
Donations to the Foundation assist us to achieve our aims of helping individuals with learning difficulties to live a productive and rewarding life.
How can you help?
Choosing the Foundation as your nominated charity you can set up a monthly Standing Order of an amount you can afford. This helps the Foundation with regular income
.
A one-off donation is always gratefully received and helps us continue with the work we do.
Your generosity is appreciated. Did you know all donations are eligible for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer? This increases your donation to the charity by 28%, with no additional cost to yourself.
Please contact us for details to set up a Standing Order or click the link to download a Gift Aid form.
